Hello, and what this is for

I have been meaning to write things down for a while. Mostly because I have some personal projects and discoveries I want to share, but also because sometimes I need to send instructions to peers and friends.

So: this is that. A place to leave notes and share discoveries.

What I expect to write about

Experiments. I build things that mostly work. A door access controller, a handful of sensors around the apartment, whatever the current one is. Some of it is interesting enough to explain, and the failures usually more so than the successes.

Things I learned the hard way. The kind of detail that is obvious once you know it and invisible until then. Wrong strapping pins. A build that behaves differently on a server than it does on static hosting. Ten minutes of writing here, hours saved later.

Guides, when I can write one that is actually better than what already exists. Not a rehash of the docs, but the parts the docs assume you already know.

And occasionally, something unrelated. Maybe I will share other stuff that I think is cool.

What I am not promising

A schedule. Posts will show up when I have something cool to share, but also when I have enough spare time to write it down.

If any of that sounds useful, the feed is there. Otherwise, the projects are probably more interesting anyway.
